Fisherman’s Rest is a great base, in a holiday “village”, conveniently located for all North Cornish coastline activities. Explore Newquay, Padstow (famous for Rick Stein’s restaurants – under 30 mins away), Rock, Port Isaac, Tintagel, Crackington Haven, Widemouth Bay and Bude. We’re also close to Bodmin Moor for walkers, with its numerous rocky peaks including Rough Tor and Brown Willy. The Camel Trail is nearby and is great fun to cycle.
Nearest supermarket is Cooperative, Camelford 3 miles
Other attractions include the Eden Project (under 1 hour’s drive). Tintagel: King Arthur’s Castle and Merlin’s Cave (6 miles). Boscastle: Idyllic harbour (5 miles). The nearest sandy beach is Trebarwith Strand (7 miles) and Polzeath, with its superb sands and surf is 16 miles away. For children the Trethorne Leisure Farm (10 miles) away with its petting zoo, outdoor and huge indoor play areas, is perfect even for a rainy day.
Children and babies are most welcome. Fisherman’s Rest normally sleeps up to 7, (4 adults, and 3 children and there are travel cots for 2 babies/toddlers). There is also another single mattress under the bunk bed for an additional child! Baby bath, potty, new buggy and travel cots in wardrobe.
This modern mid-terraced property is arranged over three floors. The entrance is onto the upper ground floor with a double bedroom, single bedroom and wet-room. Another double bedroom, bunk bedroom and wet-room are on the top floor. This layout lends itself to either two families or an extended family sharing. Not suitable for wheelchairs. Wet-rooms have showers, basins and toilets but no baths.
A kitchen/diner/lounge is on the lower ground floor. Bed linen, towels, tea towels, all toiletries including baby items, highchair, travel cots, potty, bath and stair gates for every level, are provided.
Rates (per week/day) which include cleaning at the end of you stay, a weekly change of fresh linen, towels, and flannels, extensive toiletries & access to food stores in the kitchen:
Summer (Mid July – August) £735/£105
Early and Late Summer (June – mid-July, September) and Christmas/New Year £630/£90
Autumn (October) Winter (Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, March, excluding Christmas & New Year) and Spring (April, May) £525/£75
£50 per week discount is offered on the above to clergy and and employed church staff.

Arrival and Departure times:
Normally changeover is on Friday (but other days by arrangement) and the property is available from 3pm. Departure should be by 10am on the following Friday. Keys can be collected from a key safe outside the property. Combination will be e-mailed separately.
Booking arrangements: normally Friday to Friday – see above.
Pets: Dogs welcome on the lower floor by prior arrangement only at a cost of £10pw
