Kettlesing Cottage is a beautifully renovated apartment with open plan lounge, kitchen-diner and large spacious bedroom boasting a super king size bed. In the lounge we provide a double sofa bed to accommodate a maximum of 4 guests in the property.
Due to the rural location a car is essential to access all the surrounding areas. Please note we do not feel the property is suitable for children due to the location and a busy main road access.
Kettlesing Cottage Apartment is in a rural picturesque location just 7 miles from the heart of Harrogate – host for the famous Betty’s Tea Rooms. Harrogate boasts a good selection of quality restaurants, cafes and pubs as well as a variety of shops and boutiques.
The nearest Supermarket is an Aldi, just 5 miles down the road, with Asda and Waitrose in the centre of Harrogate.
Ripley Castle and gardens is situated 6 miles away, being just a 10-minute drive.
The historic Market Town of Skipton is 20 minutes’ drive, and close to Bolton’s Abbey, a walker’s paradise, making Kettlesing Cottage the perfect location for touring the local area, right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales.
There are many and varied things to see and do from exhibitions, parks, cinema, the famous Turkish Baths, Brimham Rocks, reservoirs, cycling and walking as you explore the immediate area. There are country walks directly from the apartment into the village of Kettlesing with the Queens Head Inn to quench your thirst and enjoy an evening meal.
There are more challenging walks and climbs in the Yorkshire Dales – host to the famous 3 peaks of Whernside, Ingleborough and Penygent, 36 miles from the apartment.
The front door of the property is reached from the main road to the left of the car park via a private drive to the Cottage Door which has 3 steps leading up to the door. We operate a Key Safe access giving freedom of check in times after 3 pm – the key access safe code is sent via text on your day of travel. On leaving the property simply place the key back into the key safe. On entry there is an internal staircase leading into the apartment.
The kitchen is well equipped open plan into the lounge. We have one spacious bedroom with a super king bed for your comfort and ensuring a great night’s sleep. We can accommodate 2 other guests in the lounge using the double sofa bed. The bathroom is modern, fully tiled with an electric shower.
We currently do not offer an outside space; this is in the plan for 2022. Until then we have a bench located outside to the right of the front door. All bedding and towels are provided, our cleaning and laundry service follow the Covid guidelines for hospitality and a safe experience. Strictly no smoking or pets.

Check in via Key Safe after 3.00 pm. Check out by 10.00 am unless late check out requested and agreed.
