Cromer (central), North Norfolk Coast.

How to get here:

Short walk from Cromer train station.

Short walk from Cromer bus station.

Nearest Town:

House is in central Cromer with all the amenities of the town within a short walk, including the beach.

Nearby towns and villages include East Runton, West Runton, Overstrand, Mundesly, Sheringham and Holt. Further afield there is Holkham, Wells-next-the-sea and Norwich.

Local Area

The property is in the centre of the town and a short walk from the beach, pier, shops and eateries.

Food stores; Co-op, Iceland, independent grocers, butchers, fishmongers, bakeries and a range of cafés. There is a Post Office in the Co-op, Natwest, Lloyds and HSBC banks on the main street and Superdrug and Boots pharmacies. There is a range of independent shops including art galleries. In Sheringham, there is a Tesco and a Waitrose about 20mins drive away in North Walsham. Morrisons, next to the train station is a 15min walk (or short drive) if you need a larger store – it also has a café; Lidl is opposite.

North Norfolk is a wonderful holiday destination with beautiful, clean, spacious beaches and unending list of places to visit and enjoy. Cromer has a pier with Lifeboat Station, museum, large parish church, cinema, nearby zoo and a golf course. Also, mini-golf, amusements arcades, surf and paddle board school and famous lighthouse. The steam train leaves from Sheringham regularly. Several National Trust properties nearby as well as Holkham Hall and Sandringham. Lots of coastal and countryside paths for walking.


Facilities

The house is a ‘one-up, one-down’ property which sleeps 2 people. It is newly re-furbished throughout with good quality furnishings and decoration. Not suitable for children except one pre-crawling baby.

Downstairs is the kitchen and living area with comfortable sofa and dining table for two. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking with utensils, pots and pans, cutlery and crockery etc. Fan oven and gas hob, fridge with small freezer section, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine. No dishwasher or washing machine.

Up a short flight of stairs is a beautifully decorated bedroom with king-sized bed. A separate bathroom has a large walk-in shower with both waterfall and hand-held shower heads (no bath).

Smart television with freeview – bring your own passwords to access Netflix, Prime etc. Unlimited WiFi.

All bed linen and towels provided (bring your own towels for the beach).

Parking for one car on driveway immediately outside.

Professional cleaning service between guests.

Travel iron and mini-board. Hand-held hoover. Drying rack for clothes.

House rules apply – these include no smoking/vaping and no dogs.

Costs

These charges may change subject to demand. We are listed on Airbnb which frequently reviews the prices.

You can book direct with us, deposit is £100 for a weeks booking and £50 for a short break. This is non-refundable unless there are extreme circumstances beyond your control, eg a Covid19 lockdown. Alternatively, you can book via Airbnb which will give you an option to cancel up to 5 days before your stay.

These prices are inclusive of the cleaning, bed linen and bath towels.

Arrival and Departure times: 10.00 am departure time. 3.00 pm arrival time.

Booking arrangements: Saturday to Saturday, except by special arrangement outside of holiday seasons

Pets: Limited permission – by agreement
