How to get there:
Normally by car from the A69.
Take the A6079, signed Acomb/Rothbury.
On reaching Chollerton, turn left at the church, following the signs for Barrasford.
The property is just past the Barrasford Arms on the right hand side

Willow Cottage is situated within the pretty and quiet village of Barrasford, approximately a 10 minute drive from the picturesque market town of Hexham. Barrasford itself has a small village shop for all your immediate needs as well as an excellent pub and restaurant (the Barrasford Arms).
The nearest large supermarkets can be found just 10 minutes away in Hexham. Hexham also boasts an impressive abbey and beautiful parkland as well as many popular cafes, restaurants, boutique shops and historical attractions.
The old market town of Corbridge with its unique shops, tearooms and fascinating history is also just a 15 minute drive away.
For those with a love of the great outdoors, Kielder Reservoir, Northumberland National Park and Hadrian’s Wall are all on your doorstep. The stunning beaches of the Northumberland coastline are within an hour’s drive and for those with a love for history there are a number of beautiful National Trust properties (Wallington Hall, Cragside, Gibside) as well as the Roman forts of Chesters, Housesteads and Vindolanda.
Facilities
Willow Cottage is a cosy stone built Northumbrian cottage with an enclosed rear garden. For families with small children a travel cot and high chair are available on request. Pets are very welcome to stay (up to 2 dogs).
The cottage comprises of:
Ground Floor – Living room with smart TV and wifi access and fully equipped family kitchen and dining area
First Floor – One double bedroom with super king sized bed and one single bedroom currently with a single bed. Modern bathroom with bath and shower over bath.
Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, dog towels and water bowl and Wi-fi is included. Initial fuel for log burner is included with further fuel available for a small fee.
Free parking is available in the layby directly opposite the cottage.

Charges
Prices range from approximately £380– £600 for 7 nights depending upon season. Short breaks also available at reasonable rates.
These prices are already heavily discounted and only available as such on this website. Further discounts are available for clergy and Christian workers.
Energy Provision: Charges included in tariff. Additionally £4 per bag of wood for additional fuel for log burner
