Local Area

Located in a quiet part of the coastal city of Negombo, our modern apartment is an ideal place for someone visiting Sri Lanka to unwind at the start or end their tour of the island. All local amenities shops, supermarkets, restaurants are a walking distance away.

Known as ‘Little Rome’, due to its many churches, Negombo is replete with many Buddhist, Hindu and Muslim shrines for those who wish to explore religions.

You could:

  • visit the many attractions the tourist city of Negombo has to offer. Snap a bargain, dine in a street café,
  • explore the surrounding area, see the local fishermen at work, visit the famous fish market as fresh catch is brought ashore,
  • enjoy the sun, sea and sand and get back for an authentic home-cooked meal and a quiet night, or
  • pop into one of many tourist hotels for a swim and a snack, or for a gourmet meal, using it as your base for exploring the wider area – choice is entirely yours.

Having lived and travelled extensively in the island, we are passionate about what the country has to offer and keen to share its hidden treasurers with friends and like-minded people. We are happy to help you with planning your trip to Sri Lanka – itinerary, hotel and flight bookings and visas.

Our modern 1st floor apartment consists of:

Two large bedrooms, both with air-conditioning, one with double bed and the other with twin beds.

All bed linen, towels, cloth drying line and rack hangars and extra pillows

Bathroom with WC and solar powered hot and cold shower.Large open plan lounge and balconies

Fully furnished kitchen with tea & coffee making facilities

Wi-fi, TV, mosquito nets

Costs

£50 / night or £300 / week

10% discount for two-week bookings and further discounts for longer stays.

10% discount for clergy and church staff staying a week or more.

Energy Provision:

Price includes electricity, gas and water.
Apartment has solar powered running hot water for washing and showering
