Local Area
Bouyon is a small village but with plenty of amenities. A well-stocked grocery shop, a bar, restaurant and in summer a pool with café and a creperie. For larger supermarkets it’s a 20 minute drive or 30 minutes to the Hypermarket (CarreFour).
Bouyon is a great place to relax, walk, or as a base to visit the beaches, art, architecture and sights of the South of France. In winter you can even get to the ski slopes in just over an hour. There is a community pool open July and August which is friendly, economical and well run. There are beautiful views to enjoy and walks for all levels of energy and enthusiasm in the mountains. There is a play park with adult outdoor gym, basketball court and bouledrome. In summer there are festivals, a travelling circus and community events in the village.
