How to get there:
Access is easiest by car on the A55 and then onto the A5, 6 minutes from Britannia Bridge. There are also bus routes that come through the village. The bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the house. Anglesey is also accessible from the ferry from Dublin into Holyhead. Flights going to Anglesey Airport from Cardiff Airport.
Nearest Town:
The nearest town is Llangefni, which is a 7 minute drive away. Then Holyhead which is about 15 minute drive, and a 10 minute drive to the city of Bangor, on the mainland.
Local Area
Gaerwen and has two local shops, open long hours. There is also a Chip shop, Chinese takeaway, Swing Park, large ironmongery store, a petrol station with competitive prices, a Garden Centre including restaurants, and a local pub that serves food.
Beaches – Benllech, Red Wharf Bay, Newborough, Trearddur Bay, Llanddwyn Island, the list goes on, as it is an island.
Holyhead with South Stack Lighthouse.
Beaumaris Castle and its quaint town.
Bryn Cellu Du – A burial chamber.
Trac Mon, for car racing.
Snowdonia, with all the mountains and rivers and lakes. Zip World, Bounce below, Gypsy Wood and Greenwood Centre, to name a few.
The house has many brochures with sight-seeing adventures, you won’t be bored!
There are plenty of supermarkets on the island, and onto the mainland too.

The flat is an annexe to the Victorian house, once the Old Rectory, nestled in quiet town of Gaerwen, Anglesey, and situated in a secluded natural parkland setting. The flat is totally separate to the house, with its own front door, and private parking space. A cosy little get-away for two people, to enjoy the sights and wonders of Anglesey, Snowdonia and North Wales, or to just relax in peace and chill out! The flat has a lockbox for self-check-in, if necessary.
You will enter into a small sitting room with 2 seater sofa, small magazine rack/side table, TV and a table that will sit two for dinner or to operate your laptop from. There is a stock of board games and books available to use.
To the right is a small but well-stocked kitchen with breakfast bar, 2 stools, 2-ring induction hob, fridge, combination microwave, kettle, toaster, cooking basics, dishes, cutlery and glasses.
Barbecue utensils can be made available. There is a supply of cleaning products, kitchen roll, tea towels, and a supply of tea, coffee, and sugar.
Downstairs there is a small cloakroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toilet rolls, along with two towels per person are supplied.
The stairs lead up to a large, peaceful, open plan bedroom with comfortable double bed, electric blanket, 2 spacious bedside tables, wardrobe and chair. Bedding, plus a hair drier is supplied.
The property has central heating radiators in the bedroom and shower room, an electric fire in the lounge, and plinth heater in the kitchen. It has a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguise, fire blanket and first aid box. There is Wi-Fi in the property.
Table and chairs are in the back garden space to use. There is free parking directly outside which can sometimes take two vehicles. Should you need more, please discuss with us. If you want to bring any larger vehicles, or trailers, as is often required for competing at Trac Mon, or boats etc. please do not hesitate to enquire, as there is plenty of space on site.
We do not consider the flat to be acceptable for people with mobility issues due to the stairs.
The main house is also available to hire, sleeps 10 and this little flat can add to numbers if not enough space in the house. We also have:
A caravan, sleeping 6; A tree house for 2; A log cabin, 2+2 with its own hot tub.
We can accommodate 24 people on site.

Costs
£110 per night to include cleaning, minimum 2 night booking
10% discount is offered to clergy and paid church staff.
