Keep Your Listing Fresh — Update Your Property Details
Already listed with HolyHols? Wonderful — thank you for being part of our community. This page is where you can send us any changes to your listing: updated descriptions, new pricing, revised availability, changed contact details, or a fresh set of photos. Keeping your listing up to date helps guests find you with confidence and makes a real difference to the enquiries you receive.
How to Submit Your Update
Simply complete the form below with the details you’d like us to change. Be as specific as you can — for example, “please update the weekly price to £750” or “please replace the existing description with the following text.” We’ll make the changes to your listing and confirm with you once it’s done.
Sending Updated Photos
Fresh photos can make a huge difference to how your property is perceived, so we warmly encourage you to send updated images whenever you have them.
However, email isn’t ideal for sending photos — most email providers limit attachment sizes to around 10–25MB, and high-quality photos can easily exceed this, causing emails to bounce or arrive with images stripped out.
Instead, we recommend using WeTransfer (wetransfer.com) — a free, simple file-sharing service that requires no account to use. Just visit the site, add your photos, enter our email address (info@holyhols.co.uk), and hit send. We’ll receive a download link and pick up your files from there. WeTransfer’s free service allows transfers up to 2GB, which is more than enough for a full set of property photos.
Photo Sizing — Getting It Right
For the best results on our website, please aim for photos that are:
- Around 1200 × 900 pixels in size
- Under 300KB per file
This ensures your photos look crisp and professional on screen without slowing the page down for visitors. Very large image files can cause listings to load slowly, which affects both the guest experience and how well your page performs in search engines.
How to Resize Your Photos for Free
If your photos are too large, don’t worry — it’s easy to reduce them using a free online tool. We recommend Bulk Resize Photos (bulkresizephotos.com):
- Visit bulkresizephotos.com in your web browser
- Click Start and drag your photos onto the page
- Set the Max Width to 1200 pixels and tick Keep Aspect Ratio
- Set a Max File Size of 300KB under the file size options
- Click Resize Images — the resized photos will download automatically to your device
- Send the resized photos to us via WeTransfer as described above
The whole process takes just a couple of minutes, even for a batch of images.
