How to get there:
A car is important during your visit because we are in rural France with very limited public transport. If you come by rail or air you can easily hire cars for the duration of your stay.
Rail is easy via Paris to Bordeaux (2 hours) then local train to Bergerac (1 hour)
Bergerac Airport (40 minutes by car), Bordeaux Airport and Toulouse Airport (2 hours by car)
Ferry/Tunnel to Calais and then 10 hours by car (recommended stopover around Chartres or Orleans)
Ferry to St Malo and then 6 hours by car

Set in a beautiful and peaceful location, our renovated Dordgone farm has walks from the door. We are 2km from Biron with an Auberge and small shop. Monpazier and Villereal have many excellent restaurants, bars and supermarkets with very old market squares and historic buildings. Bergerac and Sarlat have larger hyper-markets
There is something for everyone. Dozens of medieval castles and historic towns, great locally produced food, activities such as walking, cycling, canoeing along the Dordogne, Vezere and Lot rivers, vineyard tours and wine tastings in both the Bergerac and Lot valleys, pre-historic caves and museums, fresh food markets, antiques and flea markets.
Facilities
Au Coin Des Arbres is a hamlet of beautifully restored former farm buildings, thoughtfully converted into four independent gîtes — one of which is the original farmhouse. The property combines authentic character with modern comfort, set within peaceful surroundings ideal for relaxing stays.
Each gîte has its own private outdoor dining terrace, while a covered communal space provides a wonderful setting for shared meals and long summer evenings. The extensive grounds offer plenty of space to relax, unwind, and enjoy the tranquil setting.

These two adjoining gîtes can be connected via an internal door, making them perfect for two families or friends travelling together — offering the ability to share space, meals, and time together with ease.
Book the entire property for up to 18 guests and enjoy private access to all four gîtes, the pool, and gardens — perfect for family gatherings and group holidays, with the ideal balance of shared spaces and individual privacy. a truly special stay, Au Coin Des Arbres can be booked exclusively, giving your group private use of the entire property.

Costs
Energy Provision:

Availability
Genévrier and Laurier are available all year round.
Noyer and Palmier are available from Easter to the end of October.
Arrival and Departure times:
Arrival between 16.00h and 21.00h. Gites must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure.
Booking arrangements:
July, August and May half-term arrivals/departures on Saturday only and 7-night minimum stay. Other times, arrival and departure day flexible with 3 nights minimum.
Pets: Sorry – no pets.
HolyHols guest offer: We can offer a 5% discount on rental fees exclusively to Holy Hols guests from the 1st April to the 31st May (excluding half term weeks and from 6th September to 31st October.
