Trelewack Cottage is a beautiful and peaceful Grade II Listed cottage on the Roseland Peninsula in Cornwall. Situated in a hamlet, within close walking distance of St Ewe and the well-renowned pub The Crown, it is close to the picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey.

Fantastic coastal walks and idyllic swim spots in crystal-clear bays are on your doorstep. It really is an idyllic spot for rest and relaxation, with a large garden surrounded by birdsong and butterflies.

The garden features apple trees and a small wildlife pond, along with two outdoor seating areas — perfect for enjoying a Cornish summer evening. Guests also have access to a keyboard, TV and Netflix.

How to get here:
The cottage is situated in a peaceful hamlet just outside the village of St Ewe, on the Roseland Peninsula in Cornwall. A car is recommended for exploring the area.

Parking: There is no designated parking at the cottage, but you’re welcome to drop off your belongings outside. Parking is available less than a minute’s walk away, on a very quiet road opposite the driveway to Crosswyn House.

Nearest Town:
St Ewe (short walk); Mevagissey (short drive); St Austell (approx. 6 miles); Truro (approx. 14 miles)

 


Local Area

Trelewack Cottage is perfectly placed for exploring the very best of the Cornish coast and countryside. Just a short walk away is The Crown, a wonderful local pub serving delicious home-cooked food and often hosting live music.

Here are just a few highlights of the local area:

Mevagissey — picturesque and historic Cornish fishing village
The Lost Gardens of Heligan — one of the UK’s most-loved gardens
South West Coastal Path — approximately 10 minutes’ drive

Availability

Weekly bookings only during July, August and September. First availability from Friday 24th July, free through to the end of September 2026. Shorter stays may be considered during September — please email to discuss.

Please arrange via email request prior to booking.

Check-in: From 3pm on day of arrival
Check-out: By 10am on day of departure
Pets: Dogs welcome
