Local Area

Freshwater East is within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
Food Shopping – Pembroke Dack (6 Miles) has a large Tesco plus an ASDA , both with Petrol Stations.
Pembroke (4 Miles) has a medium Co-op, a Greengrocers and various other shops.
Lamphey (2 Miles) has a small Spar at the Petrol Station.
Tenby (10 Miles) has a medium Sainsburys.
There are numerous restaurants around. There is one at the entrance to the village with a simple, child friendly menu.

There are many sandy beaches within 10 miles. The nearest is 250yds away.
Pembrokeshire has plenty of Castles including Pembroke which was the birthplace of Henry VII.
There are lots of other attractions to suit all tastes. Childrens Activity Centres, Walking, Surfing, Riding, Golf, Ice Creams

We have 7 box files in the chalet, with leaflets grouped by Family Days Out, History, Walks, Crafts, Nature etc.

This is a good base from which to explore the whole area. St David’s in North Pembrokeshire is only one hour by car.

Facilities

We have one chalet on a village of holiday homes. The whole village is on one side of a valley. Our chalet is up on an embankment and not overlooked.
From the front windows you can see the beach and the sea 250yds away.
Parking is in numbered bays about 30yds away, which you pass on the way to the beach

The chalet will sleep up to 6 people.
Upstairs – 1 Double Room, 1 Twin Room, 1 Shower Room with Toilet.
Downstairs – One through room Lounge / Dining Room / Kitchen, with a comfortable Sofa Bed forming the split of Lounge & Dining Room.
The Lounge contains 3 Armchairs, a Smart TV together with a DVD player. There is Wifi in the chalet.
The Dining Room has a set of pigeon holes with plenty of Books & Games for all ages. There is space in the pigeon holes for you to store some of your own belongings
The Kitchen is well equipped for 6 people. There is a double Oven & Grill, Microwave, Domestic Fridge with Icebox.

We provide a duvet for the double bed and blankets for the other beds. You will need to bring Sheets, Pillowcases, Towels & Teatowels.
